The Pig's Kitchen is physically based in the kitchens of Winder Hall. Winder is the best little hotel and restaurant in the Lake District.
We cook from fresh every day for our guests at Winder and the quality of our ingredients is our passion. Winder Hall is a small family-owned business where growing our own food for the table is an important part of what we do. Pork from our own small herd of English Saddleback pigs, the freshest most amazing eggs from our free-range hens, honey from our own honey bees and herbs from our walled garden all form part of our daily diet.

The Saints Rooms is a chic and stylish town centre venue ideal for parties and conferences. The baronial hall is located in one of Cockermouth's historic buildings, once being part of the old Grammer School where both William Wordsworth and Fletcher Christian (of mutiny on The Bounty fame) were educated. Our function room now comes fully equipped with a great bar, large stage, audio-visual and conference facilities, the best dance-floor in town and disco lighting and sound system to create the perfect party night.
